Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) is hiring a Mobile Equipment Fleet Mechanic for our Lake Orion, MI facility on the 2nd shift. You will maintain manufacturing equipment and fleet assets, performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize uptime and safety.

The role requires hands-on mechanical expertise with pumps, motors, hydraulics, and related systems, plus valid forklift and aerial lift licenses. MS Office proficiency and CMMS experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of facility and fleet maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with pumps, motors, hydraulic systems, and speed/feed systems.
• Valid forklift and aerial lift operator licenses.
• Truck Repair Journeyman card or documented path to obtain one.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing process equipment and fleet vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
• Complete repairs on damaged or worn fleet vehicles and equipment, diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Manage spare parts inventory and execute work orders within 24-hour timeframes to minimize operational disruptions.
• Maintain current safety training compliance and actively participate in facility safety programs.
• Utilize maintenance management systems (MAXIMO or CMMS) for comprehensive documentation and tracking of all maintenance activities.
• Maintain and renew forklift and aerial lift certifications as required.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and support continuous improvement initiatives.
