Job summary

Republic Services in Memphis, TN seeks a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead a technician team in preventive maintenance and repairs for diesel and alternative fuel trucks, containers, and heavy equipment. You will ensure safety and regulatory compliance while directing daily shop activities and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• ASE certifications listed in the ad including T3 Drive and others.
• Experience in maintenance of heavy equipment and vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to technicians to ensure safe, efficient repairs and maintenance.
• Schedule and prioritize repair work to minimize lost productivity.
• Oversee shop operations, including daily huddles, vehicle inspections and training.
• Review expenses and manage budget within approved levels; escalate major costs.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA and safety regulations across all tasks.
