Job summary

City Wide is seeking an Assistant Manager in Leesburg, VA to help manage contract compliance for designated building maintenance services and to maintain strong relationships with Independent Contractors. The role requires reviewing client contracts and ensuring work meets expectations.

Hours are Monday–Friday 6pm–10pm, with compensation of $23 per hour plus a car allowance. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and 3+ years of management experience in related industries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent in commercial janitorial services industry.
• 3 years of prior management experience leading a team across multiple locations.
• Experience in facilities, building maintenance or similar industry is a plus.
• Strong planning, organization and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain productive relationships with Independent Contractors and in-house staff.
• Review scope of work and ensure quality assurance per account to retain and grow business.
• Communicate with Facility Services Manager daily for issues requiring attention.
• Recommend IC work assignments, ensure compliance with client standards and SLAs.
• Manage inspections, customer requests and VIP attention as needed.
• Enforce City Wide policies and ensure proper use of tools and equipment.
