Job summary

ID Logistics is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to inspect and repair material handling equipment, follow GMP and OSHA guidelines, and perform light building maintenance. You will maintain service records, order parts, and ensure safety rules are followed while supporting daily facility operations on the 2nd shift.

Candidates should have strong communication skills, time management, and proficiency with electrical testing and various tools. Forklift experience is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines.
• Sound understanding of using electrical testing and repair of Material Handling equipment.
• Ability to operate a forklift and use power/hand tools.
• Follow oral or written instructions and maintain safe working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Regular inspection of all electrical and power units of a facility.
• Detect malfunctions and defects in electrical systems and vehicle engines and repair them.
• Maintain records of service cycles and maintenance activities.
• Place orders for spare parts and complete documentation.
• Perform light building maintenance (bulbs, painting, caulking).
• Move equipment between buildings and manage daily inventory counts.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and safety rules.
