Job summary

Shannon Packaging, Co. is seeking a second shift multiskilled maintenance technician to keep pouch making and slithers machines running.

You will perform mechanical, electrical, and facility repairs, with hands-on fabrication as needed, and you must have your own tools. Responsibilities include a fixed 2pm–10pm schedule with possible overtime and some Saturdays, troubleshooting and repairing equipment and buildings, completing work orders promptly, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of previous experience in maintenance or other related fields.
• Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment.
• Deadline and detail-oriented.
• Ability to handle physical workload.

Responsibilities

You will perform all phases of the company which includes work to keep pouch making machines and slithers machines operational whish includes, mechanical, electrical, machining, facility and office needs, and structure of an establishment in repair, must have own tools.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge in electronics
• Troubleshoot and Repair major and minor issues with equipment and buildings
• Complete maintenance and repair work orders, in a timely fashion assigned by supervisor
• Troubleshoot and repair various machines tooling and pneumatics
• work may include some fabrication
• ability to drive a forklift to perform maintenance or repairs
• facilities and bathroom repairs may include plumbing work
• Maintain a clean and a safe work space
• Perform other duties, as assigned by Supervisor
