Job summary

Id Logistics is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to inspect and repair material handling equipment and perform light building repairs. The role follows GMPs, safety rules, and reports noncompliance promptly.

Expect to work third shift with a starting hourly range and shift differential, and to maintain maintenance records while coordinating part orders and tool usage. Eligible candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, strong communication, time management, and forklift operation skills,

Qualifications

• Requires strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
• Experience with electrical testing and repair of material handling equipment.
• Ability to operate a forklift and use common power/hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Regular inspection of electrical and power units of a facility.
• Detect malfunctions and repair electrical systems and vehicle engines.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and corporate policies during work.
• Maintain records of service cycles and maintenance activities.
• Manage time effectively and complete tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Report damages, defects and issues to the supervising manager.
• Place orders for spare/replacement parts and document accordingly.
• Use and handle electrical repair and testing tools and equipment.
• Perform light building maintenance (bulbs, painting, caulking).
