Job summary

NOW Health Group INC. seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to repair and maintain machinery and electromechanical equipment across packaging, processing, distribution, and plant infrastructure.

The role also involves mentoring lesser skilled maintenance mechanics and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This position operates on the 2nd shift, with responsibilities including troubleshooting, PM activities, and collaboration with Engineering and operations to ensure reliable equipment

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college/technical school.
• Minimum two years related experience, or five years in a similar role.
• Extensive knowledge of machine troubleshooting, electrical, mechanical, fabrication, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards, cGMPs, lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Food or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, lubricate, and troubleshoot complex processing and high-speed packaging machinery and related equipment.
• Perform predictive and preventive maintenance per CMMS guidelines.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical equipment (A/C and D/C).
• Fabricate components using shop equipment and welding processes.
• Assist Engineering with new equipment installations; read drawings or instructions.
• Collaborate with operations and other mechanics to resolve issues and mentor less skilled staff.
• Maintain spare parts inventories and keep shop areas clean and orderly.
