Job summary

Sysco Lexington is seeking a skilled fleet maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance, inspections and diagnostic repairs on our vehicle fleet. The role focuses on safe, reliable service and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-year school and 1 year of experience or 3 years in fleet maintenance and repair.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Annual Inspector Certification, Brake Inspector Certification, ASE certifications preferred.
• 609 HVAC Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles within planned time tolerances.
• Perform Annual (FAI/CVI) inspections on all fleet vehicles per regulations.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs to manufacturer specs including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Address Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write-ups promptly and efficiently.
• Learn Sysco computer programs and diagnostic tools.
