Job summary

United Future in Cedarburg, WI is seeking a Die Cast Changeover Specialist – High-Pressure Aluminum & Hydraulics for 2nd shift. This direct-hire role offers up to $41/hour ($85,280/yr baseline) with a strong benefits package including health/dental/vision and 401(k) matching.

You will lead die changes, set process parameters, and troubleshoot hydraulic/pneumatic systems on high-pressure aluminum die casting equipment.

Qualifications

Demonstrated career stability with at least 2+ years at each previous employer.
Hands-on setup or changeover experience in high-pressure aluminum die casting or heavy manufacturing.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills across hydraulics and pneumatics.
Ability to safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
Must reside within a 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI.
High School Diploma or GED; technical/vocational training preferred; US work-authorized.

Responsibilities

Perform complete die changes and tooling setups for high-pressure aluminum die casting machines.
Set and tune machine parameters including melt temps, hydraulic pressures, shot speeds, and cycle timing.
Rig, align, and install dies and related components using cranes and forklifts.
Troubleshoot setup, machine, or casting defects to optimize cycle times and reduce scrap.
Inspect system components (hydraulic, pneumatic, cooling, spray) before production sign-off.
Coordinate first-piece inspections with Quality and Production per setup sheets.
Adhere to Lockout/Tagout and crane-safety procedures during all activities.
