Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to perform die casting setup or changeovers with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and follow complex process setup sheets accurately.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting in heavy machinery environments.
• Commitment to safety protocols and equipment operation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete die changes and tooling setups on high-pressure aluminum die casting machines.
• Set and fine-tune process parameters such as melt temps, pressures, and cycle timing.
• Rig and install dies, tooling, and related components using cranes and rigging gear.
• Troubleshoot setup, machine, and casting defects to minimize scrap and downtime.
• Verify hydraulic, pneumatic, cooling, and automation systems before start-up.
• Coordinate with Quality/Production for first-piece inspections.
• Adhere to Lockout/Tagout and safety standards during all operations.
