Job summary

Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking a Die Cast Changeover Specialist on the 2nd shift in Cedarburg, WI. You will lead complete die changes, set process parameters, and troubleshoot high-pressure aluminum die casting equipment to maximize uptime.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated 2+ years of tenure at each previous employer.
• Hands-on setup or changeover experience in aluminum die casting or heavy manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Must reside within a 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI.

Responsibilities

• Execute complete die changes and tooling setups for high-pressure aluminum die casting machines and automation equipment.
• Set and fine-tune process parameters (melt temps, hydraulic pressures, shot speeds, cycle timing).
• Rig, align, and install dies, trim tools, shot-end components, and cooling lines with cranes and forklifts.
• Diagnose and resolve setup or production defects to optimize cycles and reduce scrap.
• Verify hydraulic, pneumatic, water/cooling, and spray/ladle systems prior to production sign-off.
• Coordinate with Quality and Production for first-piece inspections.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout and crane safety procedures during all setups and teardowns.
