Food Management Search, Inc. is recruiting a Die Cast Changeover Specialist for the Cedarburg, WI area. The role focuses on changing dies, setting machine parameters, and ensuring safe, efficient operation on high-pressure aluminum casting cells.

2nd shift responsibilities include precise parameter control, tooling installation, and proactive troubleshooting to minimize scrap and improve cycle times.

Competenze

• Demonstrated career stability with at least 2 years at each prior employer.
• Hands-on die cast setup or changeover experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting in hydraulics/pneumatics and process sheets.
• Ability to safely operate cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipment.

Mansioni

• Perform complete die changes and tooling setups for high-pressure aluminum die casting machines.
• Set and fine-tune process parameters including melt temps, pressures, and cycle timing.
• Rig and install dies, trim tools, and cooling lines with overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Troubleshoot setup, machine, or casting defects during startup and production runs.
• Inspect hydraulic, pneumatic, water/cooling, and spray/ladle systems prior to production.
• Coordinate with Quality and Production on first-piece inspections.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout and crane safety protocols during all operations.
