Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of tenure at each prior employer.
• Hands-on die cast setup or heavy machinery changeover in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to safely operate cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipment.
• Residential within a 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI.
• US work authorization; no sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Execute die changes and setups for high-pressure aluminum machines and automation equipment.
• Set process parameters including melt temps, hydraulic pressure, shot speeds, and cycle timing.
• Rig, align, and install dies, trim tools, plunger systems, and cooling lines with cranes and forklifts.
• Diagnose startup and production defects to optimize cycles and reduce scrap.
• Inspect hydraulic, pneumatic, cooling, and spray systems prior to production start.
• Coordinate with Quality for first-piece inspections and setup sign-off.
• Enforce safety standards including LOTO and crane safety during all work.
