Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is hiring a Controls Technician for a large bakery in Swedesboro, NJ. You will maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation and process control systems on high-speed lines, provide technical leadership, and train Electro-Mechanics across shifts.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and hands-on experience with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi systems, along with strong problem-solving skills and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Extensive industrial controls or electrical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, work orders and manuals.
• Experience with PLCs, drives, networks and control systems.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation and control systems for reliability.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for equipment failures.
• Train and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across all shifts.
• Oversee preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance for PLCs, drives and networks.
• Maintain electrical schematics, control programs and equipment docs.
• Support plant utilities and ensure GMP, safety and quality standards.
