Job summary

Peet’s Coffee is seeking a Coffee Roasting Technician for the 3rd shift at our Brooklyn Center plant. You will operate roasting and grinding equipment, monitor profiles, and ensure quality and safety standards while meeting daily production schedules.

You'll work with a small team in a fast-paced environment, gain hands-on roasting experience, and have opportunities for development. The role offers training, competitive pay of $20–$22/hour, and benefits with the company.

Responsibilities

• Operate roasting and grinding equipment to meet daily production schedules.
• Maintain top-tier quality and food safety by following QC checks and procedures.
• Collaborate with the team to meet goals safely and efficiently.
• Communicate equipment or process issues to appropriate departments for quick resolution.
• Take ownership of cleanliness, maintenance, and continuous improvement at your station.
• Taste, evaluate, and refine—participate in cuppings and sensory sessions.
