Job summary

MSI Express, INC is seeking a Batcher to blend products to exact customer and plant standards and to deliver finished product to fillers. The role requires following GMPs, maintaining line readiness, and logging production details.

You will supervise clean-in-place tasks and participate in ongoing safety and quality assurance practices. The successful candidate will understand the batch process, operate and adjust equipment, and report any deviations or downtime quickly.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules.
• Ability to read, understand and follow directions.
• Able to lift/move equipment or product up to 50 pounds.
• Must complete OSHA Powered Industrial Equipment training and pass tests.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product sent to the filler matches approved recipes and quality standards.
• Coordinate staging of ingredients and equipment to keep line supplied.
• Maintain knowledge of batching room equipment and thermal units.
• Understand quality requirements of products and materials used.
• Adjust equipment according to formula standards as needed.
• Keep batching area clean and free of debris; rinse and store drums safely.
• Record downtime and report deviations to line lead or supervisor.
• Maintain production schedule accuracy and proper record-keeping of lot numbers and line speeds.
• Follow all company safety and manufacturing policies.
• Report food safety and quality problems promptly to authorized personnel.
