Job summary

MSI Express, INC. is seeking a Batcher to blend product to exact formulations and deliver to fillers according to customer and plant standards. Follow GMP, recipe accuracy, and lot control to ensure a quality product.

You will coordinate ingredient staging and operate batching room equipment and thermal units, maintaining cleanliness and proper documentation of lot numbers, line speeds, and production details.

Qualifications

• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions/and understand posted warning signs.
• Have appropriate eye, hand and foot coordination to properly use various equipment and/or tools.
• Ability to load/unload, lift/move equipment/product which may weigh up to 50 pounds.
• OSHA Powered Industrial equipment training and pass tests.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product sent to the filler has been made according to an approved recipe using GMP and lot control.
• Coordinates staging of ingredients and usage of equipment to keep the line supplied.
• Operate batching room equipment and thermal units as required.
• Understand quality requirements of products and materials used during the run.
• Make adjustments to equipment according to formula standards.
• Maintain batching room and staging area clean and free of debris.
• Rinse drums/containers and store in designated areas.
