Job summary

Aspire Bakeries LLC is hiring an Operator 2, Bakery- Ingredient (L7) for the Swedesboro, NJ bakery. You will measure, prepare, and label ingredients to support high-quality mixing operations and ensure traceability and food safety.

Shift is 2nd, 2:00PM–10:30PM with an hourly rate of $21–$22. You will work with the production team to maintain cleanliness and compliance, following GMP standards and food-safety practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months of general labor experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to accurately document ingredients and mixing data.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
• Ability to work with computers and operating screens.
• Ability to lift and handle ingredients up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and measure ingredients with accuracy to support consistent, high-quality batch production.
• Maintain ingredient traceability in accordance with PCE guidelines and documentation standards.
• Manage ingredient inventory, ensuring proper labeling, rotation, and storage—including refrigerated items.
• Keep prep, wash, cooler, and storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with GMP and food safety standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Lead Mixer, Machine Operator, and production team to support efficient operations.
• Monitor and maintain proper functioning of scaling tools such as weight scales, scanners, and related equipment.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time to support compliance and batch integrity.
