Job summary

JLG, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a diligent assembler to safely build equipment by following detailed instructions. You will assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics on JLG/Jerr-Dan products using power tools and manual techniques in a production setting.

This role requires the ability to operate an overhead crane, read schematics, and lift up to 35 lbs, with standing for long periods. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required to meet production demands.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in manufacturing or general labor.
• Willingness to work overtime including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics on JLG/Jerr-Dan products using power tools and manual techniques.
• Install product accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
• Safely operate an overhead crane to position parts.
• Identify required options from schematics, blueprints, and Standard Work Instructions.
• Lift and stack subassemblies and parts (up to 60 lbs with team lift).
• Follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
