Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation, Inc. is seeking an assembler to safely gather and assemble components for JLG/Jerr-Dan products. You will follow detailed instructions from supervisors, using a variety of mechanical, electrical, and manual tools to complete assemblies.

The role requires lifting up to 35 lbs solo and up to 60 lbs with a team, with potential overtime to meet production needs. Candidates should be able to read schematics and work across multiple assembly areas.

Qualifications

6+ months of experience in the manufacturing or general labor industry.
Willing to work overtime including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet production demands.

Responsibilities

Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics on JLG/Jerr-Dan products using power tools and manual techniques.
Install product accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
Safely operate an overhead crane to position parts.
Use hand and pneumatic tools with accuracy.
Measure accurately using tools like tape measures.
Drill and tap holes for wires, hoses, and small components.
Identify required options from schematics, blueprints, and Standard Work Instructions.
Lift and stack subassemblies and parts (up to 35 lbs solo; team lift up to 60 lbs).
Crosstrain and work in multiple assembly areas as needed.
Follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
Maintain attention to detail to meet quality standards.
