Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation, the parent of JLG, seeks an Assembly Technician to safely assemble equipment by following detailed instructions. You will install components, wires, hoses and hydraulics using power and manual tools in a production environment.

Responsibilities include operating overhead crane, installing accessories, and ensuring quality while meeting safety standards. Overtime flexibility and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in manufacturing or general labor.
• Willing to work overtime including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain regular attendance and reliability.
• Able to stand, lift up to 35 lb solo and up to 60 lb with a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses and hydraulics on JLG/Jerr-Dan products using power tools and manual techniques.
• Install product accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
• Safely operate an overhead crane to position parts.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools with accuracy (wrenches, hammers, torque guns).
• Measure accurately with tape measures; drill and tap holes for wires and components.
• Identify required options from schematics, blueprints and Standard Work Instructions.
• Lift and stack subassemblies up to 35 lbs solo; team lift up to 60 lbs; perform cross-training as needed.
