Job summary

JLG, an Oshkosh company, is seeking an assembler to safely assemble equipment by following detailed instructions from Supervisors and Group Leaders. This role involves wiring, hydraulics, and the installation of accessories on JLG/Jerr-Dan products, using a range of power and hand tools.

You may need to operate an overhead crane and lift subassemblies up to 60 lbs with team effort. Overtime, weekends and holidays may be required to meet production demands.

Qualifications

• Overtime and irregular hours may be required to meet production goals.
• 6+ months of experience in manufacturing or general labor.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics on JLG/Jerr-Dan products using power tools and manual techniques.
• Install product accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
• Safely operate an overhead crane to position parts.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools with accuracy and follow detailed instructions.
• Lift and stack subassemblies and parts up to 35 lbs solo; team lift up to 60 lbs.
• Crosstrain and work in multiple assembly areas as needed.
• Follow written and verbal instructions precisely and maintain clean, safe work area.
