JLG, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a production assembler to safely build equipment in a manufacturing setting. You will follow detailed instructions from Supervisors and Group Leaders to assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics using power tools and manual methods.

The role requires attention to quality and safe, efficient work. This position involves operating an overhead crane, installing accessories, and reading schematics to select required options.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in manufacturing or general labor.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lb solo and up to 60 lb with team.
• Ability to follow detailed assembly instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics on JLG/Jerr-Dan products using power tools and manual techniques.
• Install product accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
• Safely operate an overhead crane to position parts.
• Use hand tools and torque guns with accuracy and consistency.
• Drill and tap holes for wires, hoses, and small components.
• Identify required options from schematics and standard work instructions.
