Job summary

JLG, An Oshkosh Company, is seeking a production assembler to safely build equipment by following detailed supervisor instructions. You will work with mechanical, electrical and manual tools across varying product sizes, assembling parts, wires and hydraulics on JLG/Jerr-Dan products.

Based in a manufacturing environment, you will install accessories, operate an overhead crane, and maintain high quality with precise measurements and strict safety practices.

Qualifications

• Overtime including evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.
• Regular on-site attendance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics on JLG/Jerr-Dan products using power tools and manual techniques.
• Install product accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
• Safely operate an overhead crane to position parts.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools with accuracy.
• Measure accurately using tape measures.
• Lift and stack subassemblies and parts (up to 35 lbs solo; team lift up to 60 lbs).
• Crosstrain and work in multiple assembly areas as needed.
• Follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
• Maintain attention to detail to meet quality standards.
• Keep a clean, safe work area in compliance with safety rules and 6S standards.
