Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is seeking a manufacturing assembler to safely build and wire JLG/Jerr-Dan products in a production setting. You will follow detailed instructions from supervisors, use a variety of tools, and assemble components while maintaining quality and efficiency.

The role requires standing for long periods, willingness to work overtime, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds solo (60 pounds with a team).

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or general labor is preferred (6+ months).

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics on JLG/Jerr-Dan products.
• Install decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
• Operate overhead crane to position parts.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools with accuracy.
• Measure accurately with tape measures.
• Drill and tap holes for wires and small components.
• Lift/subassemble parts up to 35 lbs solo; team lift up to 60 lbs.
• Crosstrain across multiple assembly areas.
• Follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
• Maintain attention to detail to meet quality standards.
• Keep a clean, safe work area per safety 6S standards.
