Job summary

JLG Industries, an Oshkosh company, is seeking an assembler to safely assemble equipment by following detailed instructions from Supervisors and Group Leaders. You will work with mechanical, electrical, and manual tools to complete varied assemblies and ensure quality.

The role requires standing in a manufacturing environment, bending, lifting up to 35 pounds (team lift up to 60 pounds), and a commitment to safety and 6S standards. Overtime may be required to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in manufacturing or general labor is preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics on products using power tools and manual techniques.
• Install product accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
• Safely operate an overhead crane to position parts.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools with accuracy.
• Measure accurately with tape measures and other devices.
• Drill and tap holes for wires, hoses, and small components.
• Identify required options from schematics and instructions.
• Lift and stack subassemblies up to 35 lbs solo (60 lbs with team).
• Crosstrain and work in multiple assembly areas as needed.
• Follow written and verbal instructions precisely to maintain quality.
