Job summary

Kemps Dairy is seeking an adaptable Material Handler/Forklift Operator to unload materials, transfer and store raw and finished products, and operate farm-side equipment safely. The role includes working on the pick line and requires GMP compliance and clear communication with all departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License may be required during course of employment

Responsibilities

• Maintain a working knowledge of jobs within assigned department and across the facility
• Perform all duties assigned throughout the facility caused by production fluctuations and requirements
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Obtain and maintain all certifications and licenses required
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Kemps Dairyhas immediate job openings for adaptable Material Handler/Forklift Operator to perform all-purpose duties, which may include unloading materials and ingredients for warehouse use, transferring and storing raw and finished products and operating onsite equipment and machinery in a safe manner. All employees will be required to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and communicate effectively with all departments. Working on the pick line.
