Job summary

Kemps Dairy, a DFA farmer-owned brand, is hiring a Forklift Operator to load/unload materials, move ingredients, and safely operate on-site equipment in a GMP environment.

Schedule is 5PM to 5AM, 36 hours per week, with overtime available. Pay is $25.88 per hour. DFA offers a 401(k), paid vacation, health care, and growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background, and criminal checks).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work in a wet environment with potential dust, fumes, and cleaning chemicals.
• Willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.

JOB SUMMARY

Kemps Dairy has immediate job openings for adaptable Forklift Operator to perform all-purpose duties, which may include unloading materials and ingredients for warehouse use, transferring and storing raw and finished products and operating onsite equipment and machinery in a safe manner. All employees will be required to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and communicate effectively with all departments.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED preferred


• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal


• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks


• Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds


• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment


• Must be able to be able to work in a wet environment


• May have some exposure to dust, fumes and cleaning chemicals


• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays
