Job summary

Kemps Minneapolis, a farmer-owned brand of DFA, is seeking team members for our warehouse operations. You will pull and stack products based on daily orders, ensure accurate counts on load tags, and maintain clean, organized inventory in a fast-paced environment.

Role requires ability to read, write, and communicate clearly, plus experience with basic math and company computer systems. We offer opportunities to support maintenance plans and adhere to safety and SOPs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Able to write legibly for record keeping.
  • Able to use company computer systems.
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced setting.
  • Able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

  • Pull and stack product based on customer daily orders.
  • Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
  • Maintain keeping products separated, organized, and in good rotation.
  • Support preventative maintenance plans.
  • Monitor product quality and report problems to mitigate safety issues.
  • Complete production and quality logs.
  • Provide accurate counts on load tags.
  • Ensure all paperwork is clear, legible, and complete with required information.
  • Document information per SOPs.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Report any food safety/quality issues to management immediately.
  • Maintain safe working conditions and comply with health and safety regs.
  • Follow DFA GMPs and all regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Pull and stack product based on customer daily orders
  • Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner
  • Maintain keeping products separated, organized, and in good rotation
  • Support preventative maintenance plans
  • Monitor product quality frequently and report problems to mitigate safety issues
  • Complete production and quality logs
  • Furnish accurate counts on load tags
  • Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information
  • Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP’s
  • Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
  • Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
  • Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
  • Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Requirements
