Job summary

Kemps Dairy, a DFA member, is seeking a Forklift Operator to unload materials, transfer and store raw and finished products, and operate site equipment safely.

Schedule is 5PM–5AM, 36 hours/week across M-W and Thurs-Sat (then flips); pay $25.88 per hour, with benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Fast-paced environment experience required.
• Able to work in a wet environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload materials and ingredients for warehouse use.
• Transfer and store raw and finished products.
• Operate onsite equipment and machinery safely.

JOB SUMMARY

Kemps Dairy h as immediate job openings for adaptable Forklift Operator to perform all-purpose duties, which may include unloading materials and ingredients for warehouse use, transferring and storing raw and finished products and operating onsite equipment and machinery in a safe manner. All employees will be required to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and communicate effectively with all departments.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to be able to work in a wet environment
• May have some exposure to dust, fumes and cleaning chemicals
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays
