Stellar Energy Americas Inc. in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a 2nd Class Welder to perform welding on structural plate and 6G pipe using SMAW, FCAW and GTAW.

The role requires strict adherence to WPS/PQRs and readiness to cross train for multi-function structural and piping assembly. You will read blueprints, prepare surfaces, inspect welds with precision instruments, operate cranes or forklifts, and support ISO 9001 audits.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in threading, grinding, welding, brazing, rigging, plasma cutting, gas arc cutting.
• Related experience or training may be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Set up welding equipment and follow WPS/PQRs to meet testing criteria in all positions.
• Analyze blueprints for weld insignia and apply to piping and structural components.
• Prepare metal surfaces to meet job requirements.
• Visually inspect pre- and post-welded surfaces with precision measuring tools.
• Interpret weld criteria and perform repairs as needed.
• Follow instructions with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ensure daily work completion while maintaining safety standards.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Comply with PPE and OSHA standards; prepare for ISO 9001 audits.
