Job summary

Stellar Energy is seeking a skilled welder for our Jacksonville, FL fabrication facility. The role involves welding in all positions on structural plate and 6G pipe using SMAW, FCAW and GTAW. Cross training for multi-function structural and piping assembly is encouraged.

Work is in a non-remote, full-time setting with clear safety and quality expectations. Applicants must meet physical requirements and be able to lift lightweight materials and operate heavy equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in welding.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with threading, grinding, welding, brazing, rigging.
• Fluent understanding of WPS/PQR and proper machine setup.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and wear PPE for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Read and apply WPS/PQRs; set up machinery for all positions per criteria.
• Analyze blueprints for weld insignia and apply to assemblies.
• Prepare metal surfaces to meet welding requirements.
• Visually inspect pre/post-weld surfaces; measure with micrometers/calipers.
• Identify weld criteria and perform approved repairs as needed.
• Follow safety rules and document quality and process results.
• Operate overhead cranes or forklifts as required.
• Support ISO 9001 audits and related quality processes.
