Job summary

Stellar Energy is seeking an experienced 2nd Class Structural Fitter to assemble and weld large industrial structures in our Jacksonville, FL facility. You will read blueprints, measure accurately, and fit components to weld-ready status using torches and grinders.

Responsibility includes installation of hangers, supports and braces with emphasis on safety and quality. You will operate cranes as needed, document quality processes, and contribute to ISO 9001 readiness.

Qualifications

• Blue print reading and measurement fundamentals.
• 1–2 years related experience or training in industrial structural fitting.
• Tack welding ability and welding process familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, perform target point measurements, and verify true/plumb/square alignments to spec.
• Cut, fit and tack components (HSS box tubes, angles, W-members, plates) to weld-ready status with appropriate tools.
• Install hangers, supports, braces and related hardware through construction stages.
• Operate overhead cranes or forklifts with safe rigging practices.
• Document quality reports per SEA Quality Standards and prepare for ISO 9001 audits.
