Stellar Energy Americas in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a 2nd Shift Welder to perform welding on structural plate and 6G pipe using SMAW, FCAW, and GTAW. The role requires precise interpretation of WPS/PQRs and alignment with QA standards.

You will read blueprints, prepare surfaces, fit parts, and inspect welds with precision equipment, while maintaining safety standards and supporting ISO 9001 audits. This is a full-time, non-exempt position from 3:00 pm to 1:30 am, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ years welding experience with SMAW, FCAW and GTAW or equivalent.
• 2 years vocational technical training.

Responsibilities

• Set up welding machines and prepare for welding to meet WPS/PQR requirements.
• Read blueprints and apply to piping and structural assemblies.
• Prepare metal surfaces and fit components before welding.
• Visually inspect welds and use precision measuring tools.
• Repair welds as needed and follow safety procedures.
• Operate overhead cranes or forklifts and support ISO 9001 audits.
