Job summary

Stellar Energy Americas Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder for our Jacksonville, FL facility. This full-time, non-exempt position involves welding in all positions on structural plate and 6G pipe, using SMAW, FCAW and GTAW.

The role includes reading blueprints, equipment setup, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED with relevant welding experience, including threading, grinding, brazing, rigging and plasma cutting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in threading, grinding, welding, brazing, rigging, plasma cutting, gas arc cutting.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and interpret weld insignia per job requirements.
• Set up welding equipment to certified criteria across all positions.
• Prepare metal surfaces for welding per job specifications.
• Inspect welds with measuring tools (micrometer, caliper) and ensure quality standards.
• Operate overhead cranes or forklifts as needed.
• Maintain safety compliance and PPE as per OSHA standards.
• Assist ISO 9001 and other audits as required.
