Job summary

Leidos is seeking a motivated network operations professional to support 24x7 AGUN operations within the Global Cyber Center. You will implement standard network changes, triage and track ITSM tickets, and collaborate with teams to advance modernization and optimization of the Army's global network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD IAT Level II certification prior to start.
• Experience supporting Cisco SD-WAN environments.
• Knowledge of SDN concepts.
• Experience with VMware.
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Hands-on with InfoVista network performance management tools.
• Experience using ITSM ticketing tools.
• Strong networking fundamentals: LAN/WAN, BGP, TCP/UDP, IPSec, VPNs, SNMP, NTP.

Responsibilities

• Support 24x7x365 AGUN operations and provide updates to GCC to facilitate command and control of AGUN network.
• Execute standard network policy and configuration changes, including remediation activities and pre-approved workflows.
• Manage, triage, track, and update workflows and service tickets within JIRA Service Desk and other ITSM platforms.
• Provide situational awareness and status updates regarding ticket resolution and activities as directed by the GCC.
• Escalate incidents to higher-tier support teams when required.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to perform legacy environment discovery and support network modernization.
• Provide Tier II operational support for the Army's global network infrastructure.
• Analyze network performance and identify optimization strategies for reliability and capacity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across geographically dispersed enterprises.
• Support network migration, integration, and operational sustainment.
