Job summary

Leidos is seeking a network professional to support the AGUN program, sustaining the Army’s global wide area network and security infrastructure. The role covers network migration, operations, maintenance, ensuring availability, performance, and security of the enterprise network.

Responsibilities include resolving tickets, implementing changes, supporting workflows, collaborating with technical teams, providing Tier II support, and contributing to modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+ or higher).
• Experience supporting Cisco SD-WAN environments.
• Knowledge of SDN concepts and related technologies.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware).
• Experience supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with network performance tools (InfoVista).
• Familiarity with ITSM ticketing systems (JIRA, ServiceNow).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier II operational support for the Army’s global network.
• Resolve tickets, implement approved network changes, and support migrations.
• Collaborate with technical teams across global environments to optimize performance.
• Maintain situational awareness and report status updates to the GCC.
• Escalate incidents to higher tiers when needed and participate in modernization initiatives.
