Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector is seeking an Availability Manager to ensure service availability and rapid incident resolution in a mission-critical environment. You will lead the 24x7 operations, drive process improvements, and report on incidents, changes, and SLAs from Columbia, MD.

The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph, a bachelor's in engineering or equivalent experience, and strong leadership and ITSM/tooling skills. Office presence is required five days a week at the posted location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is desired; four additional years may substitute for the degree.
• Minimum three years of related experience in a 24x7 operational environment.
• Experience with enterprise management monitoring tools and ITSM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 24x7 operations center staff and ensure SLAs are met.
• Lead incident response during outages and coordinate rapid resolution.
• Prepare daily incident, change, and SLA reports for management.
• Schedule operations staff to ensure 24x7 coverage and optimize resources.
• Coach and mentor staff and address performance issues.
• Communicate professionally with all levels of personnel and stakeholders.
