Job summary

MANTECH is seeking an Availability Manager to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD, or San Antonio, TX. This swing-shift role runs 6 am–2 pm (MD) or 5 am–1 pm (TX), Sunday–Thursday, with potential travel to support operational demands.

You will help ensure service availability by managing outages, analyzing incidents, and coordinating across IT teams to uphold SLAs and KPIs for a worldwide IT operations contract.

Qualifications

• 2+ years relevant experience in a technical subject.
• Security+ or IAT Level II certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a technical support role with IT equipment, network, and end-user devices.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and network switches.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of services within SLAs and KPIs across geographically dispersed regions by managing outages and major incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis and work with IT teams to implement preventative measures for best-in-class customer support.
• Provide tailored training to enable 24/7 support for worldwide IT operations and coordinate with PMO teams as needed.
