Job summary

WorldNet Telecommunications Llc in Puerto Rico is seeking a Network Support Specialist to provide 24/7 surveillance and tier-1 troubleshooting for network and customer issues, ensuring repair times and follow‑ups meet our SLA and notification processes.

You will handle customer requests, investigate outages, and coordinate with NOC and field teams to maintain service quality. Bilingual in Spanish/English required; associates degree with 3 years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree and three years of equivalent experience in related field and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in outside plant required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 surveillance and tier-1 troubleshooting for network and customer issues to meet SLA.
• Answer calls and handle customer requests via remote assistance (CPE, SoftSwitch, PBX, SIP).
• Investigate network outages to determine root cause and recommend process or configuration changes.
• Ensure customer service is operational within SLA repair time frames.
• Keep customers informed of repair status per SLA and update repair orders daily.
