Mercy Health in Ohio is seeking a dependable Patient Services Associate to manage multi-source call traffic, direct calls, and provide courteous, accurate information from the hospital switchboard.

The role requires excellent listening, clear communication, and the ability to coordinate with physicians, administrators, and clinical teams. On-site work with after-hours, weekend, and holiday coverage, with emphasis on compassionate patient contact and service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; proficient in Excel and Word; AS400 experience.
• Switchboard training and competency testing completed.
• 1–3 years of related experience.

Responsabilités

• Respond to physician hotline and switchboard traffic with rapid, courteous throughput.
• Contact Administrator on-call as requested by supervisors.
• Page ancillary personnel on-call after hours, weekends and holidays.
• Handle Hospice and Cancer Treatment Center calls after hours with empathy.
• Assist at Service Window and answer calls professionally.
• Maintain clear communication and listening skills.
