Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Call Center Support Operator in Ohio. You will answer inbound and internal calls, facilitate transfers, and assist in coordinating care across several hospital sites. The role includes emergency call handling and on-call notification using the QGenda system.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, with preference for EMD certification or healthcare experience. Evening hours (2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.) with weekend/holiday rotations are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of call center/telephone operator experience or 2 years of customer service experience.
• EMD certification preferred.
• Healthcare experience or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer and provide information to inbound and internal callers and facilitate transfers.
• Answer after-hour patient and emergency internal calls to physicians and emergency codes using prescribed protocols.
• Identify on-call providers in QGenda and notify via alpha page or phone.
• Handle calls for multiple hospital sites including Main Campus and related facilities.
• Provide relay service for hearing-impaired callers and assist those unable to dial.
• Perform data entry into application databases and reference materials.
• Use Epic to view patient information and provide appointment details.
