Logan Health in Kalispell, MT seeks a Communication Center Dispatcher to answer priority calls, coordinate security and medical responses, and maintain critical communication links. The role requires CritiCall pre-employment testing, healthcare dispatching experience preferred, and excellent written and verbal communication.

You'll work with Amcom/On Call systems, Telehealth protocols, and multi-agency coordination, including flight and ground transport.

Formación

• Must pass CritiCall pre-employment testing including typing, medical terminology, ten-key data entry, and proofreading.
• Healthcare, fire, EMS, or law enforcement dispatching experience preferred.
• Must communicate effectively and maintain cooperative relationships with providers, staff, patients and the medical community.
• HIPAA confidentiality and customer service principles apply to the role.
• Must manage fast-paced, stressful calls and multi-task across multiple systems.

Responsabilidades

• Answers priority line calls and initiates response for Code Events, Alarm Activations and requests.
• Obtains information to determine urgency and dispatch needs.
• Monitors Telehealth activation and coordinates Stroke Response communications.
• Dispatches ALERT flight teams and coordinates transport and logistics.
• Uses Amcom, On Call, Meditech, and multiple camera systems to manage information.
• Ensures emergency procedures are followed with proper notifications.
• Maintains security and maintenance radio channels and surveillance systems.
• Communicates with staff, law enforcement, health services and public to relay information.
• Maintains On Call schedules accurately and communicates changes.
• Keeps regular attendance as scheduled by leadership.
