Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare operations, emergency communications, or dispatch.

• Knowledge of confidentiality laws (HIPAA).
• Excellent attention to detail and professionalism in high-stress settings.
• Experience with multiple technologies (phones, computers, and special software).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software systems.
• Strong organizational skills and teamwork capability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills handling sensitive situations with tact.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with internal and external partners involved in patient movement.
• Coordinate available resources for routine and emergency needs.
• Operate communication equipment per department protocols.
• Ensure compliance with emergency procedures and notifications.
• Prioritize and dispatch ALERT and Logan Health EMS Network teams.
• Coordinate communication across the healthcare delivery team for safe transport.
• Maintain safety in transport coordination and asset tracking.
• Identify operational concerns and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Collaborate with peers and contribute to ongoing professional development.
