Job summary

Logan Health Medical Center in the United States seeks a compassionate RN to join our Triage Call Center on a PRN basis. You will perform nursing assessments, triage, patient education, and care coordination by phone to support safe clinical decision-making.

This fast-paced, patient-centered role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently. Weekend/holiday coverage is required; Montana license or compact license is needed; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Montana RN license or multi-state compact license with authorization to practice in Montana.
• Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience in a medical setting such as a clinic, physician office, or hospital.
• Current BLS/CPR certification at the Healthcare Provider level.
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory and clinical practice, medical terminology, infection prevention and control, OSHA rules, and HIPAA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic triage, assessment, and clinical guidance using the nursing process.
• Develop and implement individualized, goal-directed care plans.
• Accurately transcribe and carry out provider orders, both verbal and written.
• Document all patient interactions in accordance with organizational standards.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition, both physical and mental.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Coordinate patient care and interventions with providers.
• Maintain infection prevention and workplace safety protocols.
• Demonstrate strong prioritization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Maintain reliable attendance and dependability for scheduled shifts.
