Job summary

Amentum seeks an Emergency Communication Center Supervisor at Creech AFB to lead a 24/7 dispatch operation, overseeing receipt, processing and dissemination of information to fire, medical and security teams in support of mission success.

Reporting to the ECC Manager, you will supervise dispatchers, ensure compliance with NFPA 1061 and local policies, manage training/certifications, and generate daily KPI reports while maintaining essential records and operational continuity.

Qualifications

• Six+ years in emergency communications with at least three years in a supervisory role.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for Secret clearance.
• DoD Public Safety Telecommunicator I & II and Hazardous Materials Awareness certifications within six months.
• IAED EMD/EFD certification required upon hire.
• Proficiency with Computer-Aided 911 VESTA and mapping software.
• Strong English reading/writing and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise dispatch staff including scheduling and performance evaluations.
• Oversee receipt and dissemination of emergency and non-emergency information to responders.
• Train and evaluate new and relief dispatchers; conduct daily training and track completion.
• Maintain required certifications (EMD, EFD, DoD) and conduct evaluations for training.
• Prioritize incoming calls to ensure emergencies receive immediate attention and resources.
• Prepare daily/monthly reports and maintain KPI records in compliance with policies.
• Initiate recall of off-duty personnel and notifications during operations.
• Maintain proficiency in mapping programs used during search and rescue and hazmat ops.
• Monitor radio and telephone communications with field units to ensure resources.
• Resolve employee complaints and escalate if needed.
• Follow NFPA 1061 standards and local SOPs; perform other duties as assigned.
