Job summary

AWS Data Services, Inc. is seeking Data Center Technicians to install equipment, troubleshoot hardware and networking issues, and document processes.

This 24/7 role requires the ability to travel within the regional area and work both independently and with a team. You will join a diverse group of engineers and operations staff, handle on-call duties, and contribute to incident resolution while maintaining safety standards and cost efficiency across AWS data centers in Virginia and nearby

Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ year of computer networking experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform server rack installations and hardware break-fix on components.
• Troubleshoot network issues and respond to incidents impacting service availability.
• Serve as primary contact with engineers, vendors, and contractors.
• Create and maintain documentation; contribute to process improvements.
• Train and onboard new team members.
• Take ownership of technical issues and engage other teams to drive resolution.
