Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician to perform server rack installations and hardware break-fix across AWS data centers. The role requires troubleshooting network issues, responding to incidents, and coordinating with engineers and vendors to ensure service availability.

The position involves on-call shifts, 24/7 operations, and travel between sites. Candidates should be able to lift heavy equipment, work in noisy environments, and undergo training at multiple

Qualifications

Able to troubleshoot computer/server hardware and related IT issues.
Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Ability to travel to/commute between data center locations as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform server rack installations and hardware break-fix on components.
Troubleshoot network issues and respond to operational incidents.
Serve as primary contact for internal/external stakeholders; coordinate with engineers, vendors, and contractors.
On-call duties and participate in maintenance and change management.
Contribute to documentation and process improvements; onboard new team members.
