Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a Shift Manager in Bedford Park, IL. This role leads shift-level production planning, ensures on-time in full shipments, and enforces safety and food safety standards across Supervisors.

You will steer daily goals, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement through SOPs and audits. The position emphasizes leadership development of Supervisors, maintaining strong safety practices, and timely performance reviews, with a 1st shift 6:00am–4:00pm

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year degree or equivalent operations experience.
• Proven leadership and coaching experience in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong knowledge of safety, GMP, and SOP adherence.

Responsibilities

• Owns shift production planning and coordinates with FSQA and Warehouse to meet daily targets.
• Manages performance reviews for supervisors and develops leadership within the team.
• Ensures adherence to safety standards, food safety programs, and SOPs; leads cross-functional safety initiatives.
