Job summary

Home Chef in Bedford Park, IL is seeking a Sanitation Associate on the 2nd shift (3:15 PM to 11:45 PM) with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off.

You will maintain cleanliness and food safety in the processing facility, wear PPE, and follow health and safety regulations while supporting GMP and SQF programs.

Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing equipment, stocking supplies, and ensuring sanitary conditions across all areas daily.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the food industry.
• Fluency in Spanish and English preferred.
• General high school education or GED is acceptable; high school diploma is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and a food-safe environment in the facility.
• Wear proper PPE at all times and follow safety regulations.
• Clean, sanitize, and organize equipment and surfaces daily.
• Restock gloves and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Follow GMP/SQF guidelines daily.
